Theme Thursdays! Feb 2nd
Theme Thursdays is a fun weekly event that will be open from one thursday to the next. Anyone can participate in it. The rules are simple:
- A theme will be posted each week (on Thursday’s)
- Select a conversation/snippet/sentence from the current book you are reading
- Mention the author and the title of the book along with your post
- It is important that the theme is conveyed in the sentence (you don’t necessarily need to have the word)
Ex: If the theme is KISS; your sentence can have “They kissed so gently” or “Their lips touched each other” or “The smooch was so passionate”
This will give us a wonderful opportunity to explore and understand different writing styles and descriptive approaches adopted by authors.
This week's theme is very related to the eye - any action that you do with your eye.
SEE
WINK, VISION, ROLL etc
Okay, so SEE was not what I found, but I did find the word SAW (a form of see) so I figured that would work. :-)
"When we finally walked further into the club the first thing we saw were a group of girls standing to the left waiting to be chosen but we kept walking just to look around the place." page 118 The Harvest by Duane King

Waiting to be chosen for what?? Hmm, now that is a curious statement you chose. PS: Your comment was funny.. and just for that reason glad you saw SAW and not SEE :)
ReplyDelete:) Thanks for stopping by. LOL, couldn't resist the comment.
